Message	with a laptop. Its both hardware and software and you can make changes on the fly - no pulling/erasing/burning chips necessary. Just use a laptop to connect to it and start tuning. ZControl is a software application for editing the parameters within a binary file, of which you would burn to a chip to produce the end result. The software is free, but it requires hardware and knowledge of how to use it in order to produce the final chip. ZControl is an excellent program for modifying EPROM programs, but I believe the developer (xtensive) is moving towards making it do what the ZEM does. The ZEM has been through a year of beta testing to get it up sale-ability and it is now available for sale and can be purchased through Z1 Motorsports.
